With 14 years of experience in .NET development, ManiPrabha thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment, where focus and teamwork go hand in hand. From discovering a love for coding by accident to staying ahead of tech trends, ManiPrabha shares insights on career growth, productivity, and even a surprising hidden talent!

Q: Can you tell us a little about your role and what you love most about your work?
As a tech lead, I work alongside the team to build great solutions in a stress-free environment. The culture here promotes teamwork, where everyone gets the time to think, code, and support each other. It’s a perfect blend of focus, fun, and collaboration.
Q: What inspired you to choose your current career path?
Honestly, I wasn’t inspired initially—I just wanted to extend my college life, so I joined a three-year MCA program. But during those years, I discovered my love for coding and realized I was good at it. What started as a way to stay in college became the foundation of my career. Funny how things turn out!
Q: What’s your go-to productivity hack that helps you stay on top of tasks?
My go-to productivity hack is simple: I focus on fully understanding the requirements before diving in. Then, I concentrate on getting the work done during office hours without distractions. It helps me stay organized and deliver efficiently!
Q: If you could master any new skill instantly, what would it be?
It’d be AI development to keep up with the robots professionally—and driving personally, so I don’t have to keep bribing family members for a ride!
Q: What’s a piece of advice that has stuck with you throughout your career?
One piece of advice that’s stuck with me is: don’t accept everything just to please others. Always stand by what’s right and correct, even if it’s challenging. Staying true to your values and doing the right thing will always lead to long-term success.
Q: What’s a fun or surprising fact about you that most of us don’t know?
I secretly raid my kids’ snack stash when they’re not home. It’s like I’m a snack ninja—swooping in and out before they even know
Q: What’s the best book or podcast you’ve encountered that’s helped shape your career or mindset?
Recently, I read Sudha Murthy’s Everyday, Everywhere, Everytime, and it was absolutely fascinating—I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve read many books, but this one truly stood out for me.
Q: What’s one tool, app, or software you can’t live without for work?
As a .NET developer for the past 14 years, Visual Studio has been my go-to tool—it’s been absolutely essential throughout my career.
Q: If GPI had a talent show, what would be your hidden talent?
I’d probably win the “Master of Fun” title—I can keep everyone entertained! Hidden talent? Nah, I’m just here to spread the laughs!
Q: What’s a personal or professional goal you’re working on in 2025?
As a mother of two, my personal goal is to nurture my kids with good health and strong values. On the professional front, I’m dedicated to maintaining a balanced lifestyle, staying motivated, and keeping my skills sharp by learning new technologies.
