GPI is looking for a smart, talented, and driven Senior Product Manager to be an integral part in the design and development of the new generation of rapid value assessment and price prediction technology.


Using the latest technology and robust data sources, GPI horizon delivers rapid value assessment and price prediction to inform portfolio strategy and prioritisation; investment decisions for early assets; strategic price and access planning for assets leading up to launch; and price revisions throughout the product lifecycle.


The Senior Product Manager is a pivotal position, leading the development of product requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams. This role will interact closely with customers, inhouse and external industry experts, software architects and engineers, user experience specialists, and project managers to deliver scalable technology solutions to GPI’s pharma clients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Interpret and communicate complex business challenges to stakeholders.
  • Able to analyse and identify key challenges facing of our SaaS products and define mitigation strategies to immediately improve on them.
  • Speak for the customer and lead interactions and collaboration with product stakeholders, internal subject matter experts, and end-users.
  • Develop SaaS product/interface designs on collaborative interface design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD (with assistance from UI/UX designers
  • Create demos and presentations to inform GPI teams and clients on product functionality.
  • Ensure product trajectory alignment with internal and external users, including GPI’s sales, marketing, and consulting functions.
  • Prioritise defects reported by customers and follow best practice customer communication protocols.
  • Own the product strategy and vision, roadmaps, requirements, priorities, and releases.
  • Participate in client meetings and lead customer meeting preparation across all stakeholders.
  • Define key problems, requirements, workflows, and establish solutions.
  • Analysis of technical and operational considerations around product development.
  • Data-driven and cost-benefit analyses to guide decision making and prioritise product backlog.
  • Roadmap presentation, manage client expectations, and address key pain points to leverage new and existing client relationships.
  • Review, prioritise and comment on product defects.
  • Serve as the point of contact and product expert for internal and external customers.
  • Lead key internal cross-functional activities necessary for successful product release.
  • Study market trends, competitor products, and industry regulations to identify opportunities.

Technical Skills:

  • Good understanding of Cloud technologies in either Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • Ability to manage work from teams of varying experience and seniority.
  • Strong people and communication skills, coupled with a relentless attention to detail.
  • Market research and analysis.
  • Translation of business needs to the technical team and visa-versa.
  • Data-driven and action-orientated.
  • Problem solving and issue-resolution across multiple and competing priorities.
  • Comfortable in an agile development environment.
  • Blended creativity, product instinct, technical knowledge, with an eye for monetisation

Experience:

  • 5+ years previous experience in technological product management position.
  • Relevant experiences in Pharma and Healthcare industries, and related SaaS development in this space (however not essential)
  • Proven demonstrable experience in Product Design, Product Development and Product Marketing.
  • Proven demonstrable experiences in SaaS software releases.
  • Proven demonstrable experiences in designing software and successful delivery through different product development lifecycles.
  • Highly experienced in developing Information Architecture, Product Requirements Documents and Product Roadmaps, that clearly integrates the expectations of customers alongside GPI’s product strategy/trajectory.
  • Deep understanding of the commercial Software as a Service (SaaS) landscape.
  • Experience of face-to-face working with clients.
  • Management of complex cloud technology solutions.
