Overview

We are on the lookout for a Senior Consultant to join our team. As the Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for managing projects and team members in the design, development, and delivery of client consulting projects. They will lead research and analysis in a range of practice areas including but not limited to price and market access launch strategy, competitor research, value-based pricing analyses and HTA.

With an experienced background in P&MA consulting and strong technical pricing knowledge, you would be comfortable leading from the front on client projects, identifying client needs & problems and implementing robust data driven solutions, helping to lead & maintain training for the consultants on the team and managing their workload to meet client deliverables.

The senior consultant would be supported by the Director and Associate Director within the team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Producing models covering many aspects of the pharmaceutical industry (including price volume dynamic analyses, pricing strategies, landscape analyses, indication and market sequencing analyses and the effects of parallel trade and risk analysis).
  • Using our cutting-edge technologies to produce bespoke pricing models for clients.
  • Conducting secondary and primary research using internal and external data sources.
  • Distilling project results into actionable and relevant analyses within visually impactful PowerPoint presentations, with strong attention to detail and to high quality.
  • Verbally presenting project updates and results.
  • Leading internal operation for project delivery to ensure efficient and profitable completion of projects.
  • Supervising, managing and directing activities of junior team members (analysts and junior consultants), while actively supporting their development via ongoing coaching and mentorship.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact with client in project delivery, and serving as main client interface for communications on project status, obtaining input and review/approval of materials.
  • Acting as a main point of contact for the consulting lead team.
  • Maintaining consistent and effective team communication.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant SOPs, policies and procedures.
  • Contributing to internal initiatives to expand expertise within pricing and market access project types, methodologies, and pricing and reimbursement policy scanning.
  • Supporting thought leadership initiatives including client training webinars, journal publications, congress presentations and white papers.
  • Demonstrating and actively promoting an open and honest working environment to encourage close teamwork, foster knowledge transfer, and provide clear direction to all employees.
  • Actively involved in business development, supporting proposal preparation and client pitches.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Strong understanding of different healthcare settings and pricing and reimbursement of medicines in major EU markets, US and other key launch markets
  • Strong IRP & Pricing knowledge essential
  • Proven track record of leading client projects & being a trusted primary contact across client facing engagements
  • Have the experience to analyse & interpret reimbursement & pricing information to support new and ongoing projects & market access studies for global clients.
  • Excellent understanding of consultancy processes, best practice, quality standards and client expectations

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences, business or related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of life sciences consulting or pharma/biotech industry experience.
  • Industry experience (pricing, forecasting, more general commercial strategy) or managed care/reimbursement policy consulting or related experience (strategy consulting to healthcare industry, market research) that supplements an advance degree.
  • An understanding of pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pricing and reimbursement content, issues, and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated excellence in clarity and completeness in oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in coaching and development of staff.
  • Able to manage 2+ projects simultaneously.
  • An understanding of pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement systems in target geography
