Looking back on your 13-year journey in tech, what’s one moment that still excites you?
That’s nostalgia!
After learning coding, debugging & developing applications, when 1st time you see something, you build & used by stranger, making their life easier is still unbelievable.
Along with this, building an atmosphere, where people can contribute in both, day to day activities & innovations that’s another level of excitement.
What’s your leadership mantra when it comes to building high-performing teams?
Earn trust of each & every team member, providing clarity of roles & giving importance to growth over control.
And one more very important aspect of leadership, which I learned from my manager is, Never bring down the rising stars, always push team members to reach to their full potential
If you could give one piece of career advice to your younger self, what would it be?
Take risks, do not stop learning new things & ask stupid questions (No question is stupid unless it is in your mind) 
What’s one myth about software engineering you wish more people knew the truth about?
Well, there certainly few myths, however I would like to highlight one:
“You can substitute people for the time in software delivery…”
Reality: “Adding manpower to a late software project, makes it later…”
Adding manpower to a delayed project is the first instinct of most managers. This is due to a mistaken belief that time can be reduced by linearly dividing the remaining effort of the project with additional manpower. However, it’s not true in case of software engineering.
Reasons are as follows,
- Onboarding time & efforts: Adding new members to the team takes time to onboard. This results in a lack of any immediate gain in team productivity. The onboarding of new members also takes the effort of existing team members, resulting in the loss of their productivity.
- Team productivity is inversely proportional to the lines of communications: Adding new members increase these lines of communication resulting in a loss of productivity.

“Fear regret more than failure”
What’s your favourite way to disconnect and recharge outside work?
Well, there are few things which I do, however playing cricket is my favourite.
Then I go for trek, do Yoga & cook/prepare healthy food items
If your career were a movie, what would the title be?
“Against all Odds”

Well honestly, I don’t want to depend on any gadget or app, however smart phone, I would say. It is managing everything nowadays
