Work, growth & journey
Looking back at your 6.5 years with GPI, what moment made you feel “this is where I belong”?
When I moved from a pure Data role into Client Support, I realised how much I enjoyed working across multiple domains rather than staying within just one. That exposure helped me build confidence in managing both internal and external communication and understanding the bigger picture. Later, stepping into Operations and eventually PMO reinforced that feeling, especially being trusted with complex responsibilities that genuinely mattered to the organisation.
How has your definition of success changed since you first joined GPI?
Earlier, success felt more about doing my role well individually. Today, success means delivering real impact, building strong and sustainable processes, helping others grow, and continuously learning along the way.
What part of your work today gives you the most satisfaction?
Knowing that things are running more smoothly because potential issues were identified early, processes were clarified, or teams are better aligned often without much noise around it.
What’s one habit or mindset that has really helped you grow over the years?
Looking at challenges as opportunities to learn rather than obstacles and staying open to feedback even when it is uncomfortable.
What’s a lesson you learned the hard way—but are grateful for now?
Handling ambiguity. Not everything comes with clear answers or perfect information, and learning to stay calm and make progress anyway has been a big growth area for me.
What keeps work meaningful for you, even on challenging days?
Challenging days often come with the biggest learning moments and knowing that I am growing while contributing to something larger keeps me motivated.
How do you personally approach helping others without feeling overwhelmed?
I try to listen first, understand the problem, and then help structure a path forward. Sometimes that means solving the issue, and sometimes it is simply being a calm point of support.
What do you think makes someone a strong team member—not just a good individual contributor?
A strong team member thinks beyond their own tasks, communicates openly, and actively supports the success of the whole team.
If you could go back and give your Day-1 GPI self-one piece of advice, what would it be?
Don’t hesitate to speak up sooner – your perspective adds value more often than you think.
What’s something new you’re still excited to learn or explore?
Continuing to grow in strategic thinking, automation, and building scalable operational frameworks.
What do you value most about the people you work with at GPI?
The willingness to collaborate, support one another, and adapt – even when things are challenging.
What’s a belief about work that has only strengthened with experience?
Doing things right is always more effective than doing them fast without alignment.
What’s one thing you hope people remember about working with you?
That I showed up consistently and tried to make work a little easier for the people around me.
What advice would you give to someone starting their journey at GPI today?
Stay curious, ask questions, and don’t limit yourself to your role description. Growth often happens outside it.
