GPI at Silicon Valley Comes to the UK Summit

This week, GPI had the pleasure to be invited to the Silicon Valley Comes to the UK (SVC2UK) summit. SVC2UK is an annual tech conference that brings world-leading tech entrepreneurs and investors to the UK for a series of workshops, panel discussions and masterclasses in November each year.

SVC2UK was founded in 2006 by serial entrepreneurs Reid Hoffman, Ellen Levy and Sherry Coutu CBEand this year, SVC2UK brought over fifteen events to Oxford, Cambridge and London.

Preeti Patel, CEO of GPI, took part in the invitation-only CEO Summit at Guildhall in the City of London where GPI was recognised as one of the 70 fastest growing tech companies in the UK and invited to join the SVC2UK Scale Up Club.

At the event, business leaders, serial entrepreneurs and investors were matched to the CEOs based on their barriers to scale, and connections were forged that have previously enabled businesses to expand globally, pivot and open up new market opportunities.

Scale Up Club success stories include well-known currency transfer specialist Transferwise, travel website Skyscanner and virtual keyboard app Swiftkey.

The invaluable mentorship of tech leaders from Silicon Valley and the UK will help GPI expand further and solve the most pressing market access problems in the life sciences industry.
